Sunday dinner: Eggplant with Thai chili and garlic sauce, heirloom tomato salad, and Shirayuki Junmai Daiginjo Sake. This Sake is crisp and refreshing with a hint of apple. Made with special rice fertilized with manure of winning horses from the Japan Racing Association and the coveted ‘Divine Water’ from Rokko Mountain. It is believed that partaking this Sake will bring good luck. I sure could use all the good luck right now!
